KARACHI: Nazim wants completion of projects in time
KARACHI, March 9: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan has directed officials of various departments to complete the development projects within the stipulated time.
He issued these directives while chairing a high-level meeting at his office on Tuesday. The meeting reviewed the pace of work on different development projects.
The officials concerned informed the Nazim that water and sewerage lines at the site of FTC flyover would be replaced within 15 days. Moreover, the meeting observed that road carpeting should be started so that it could be completed with the completion of FTC flyover.
The meeting was told that the work on Allama Rashid Turabi Road would be completed by May 25 whereas the construction of Karachi Medical and Dental College building would be completed by July 8.
City Nazim directed the officials concerned to initiate construction work on Al-Markaz Islami and Women Sports Complex. DCO Mir Hussain Ali and EDO Works and Services Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, were present in the meeting. -PPI
