LAHORE: Seminar on Water Day

LAHORE, Mar 6: A national seminar and an exhibition will be organized here on the occasion of Water Day, which is globally observed on March 22 under the auspices of the United Nations.

The function is being arranged by the provincial government in collaboration with a magazine projecting environmental issues. Other contributors to the seminar and the exhibition include the Institution of Engineers Pakistan, Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Pakistan Water Partnership, College of Home Economics, Lahore College for Women University, British Council and the College of Home Economics.

The function, to be held in the LCCI auditorium, aims at providing a neutral platform to experts for making presentations on the latest research on global, regional and national water issues. It will also highlight the management and development of water resources of Pakistan.-APP
