SAHIWAL, March 5: The district government on Friday allowed the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy to hold a public meeting on the Hockey Ground here on March 11.

The decision was made by the district management after talks with local ARD leaders including the district president, Mehr Ghulam Farid Kathia, and secretary-general Malik Nadim Kamran.

A spokesman for the ARD said the meeting would be addressed by ARD chairman MNA Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Senator Raza Rabbani, Raja Zafarul Haq, Qasim Zia and Zulfiqar Ali Khosa.
