BD MP worried over India, Israel deal

By Our Correspondent

DHAKA, March 4: A senior policy-maker of ruling Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Wednesday night found "fishy" a recently reported deal between the intelligence agencies of India and Israel to share information.

K.M. Obaidur Rahman, a lawmaker and member of the ruling BNP's standing committee, questioned whether the India-Israel pact was a deviation from India's established foreign policy, saying the foreign affairs minister should clarify Bangladesh's position and a statement should be made by Prime Minister Khaleda Zia. He expressed concern in parliament over the teaming up of RAW and Mossad.
