HYDERABAD, March 3: A former Pakistan Muslim League-Q provincial vice-president and member of the central working committee, Chaudhry Saifullah, has stressed the need for infusing a new spirit in the party.

He was speaking to party workers, who called on him from Thatta, Tando Allahyar, Mirpurkhas and Sanghar at his residence, on Saturday. He said as far as Sindh was concerned, Pir Saheb Pagaro should be requested to appoint the provincial president and secretary-general of the party and supervise the elections of the provincial working committee.

The workers expressed their no-confidence in the provincial organizing committee. They said Nisar Memon and Maqbool Shaikh had nothing to do with the Pakistan Muslim League.

The workers said Nisar Memon had been given the Senate ticket on the orders from above and he was their representative and not the representative of the PML. They complained that Mr Shaikh had always worked for the SDA, he was the representative of the SDA.

Chaudhry Saifullah assured the workers that he would convey their sentiments to PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. He said that in order to reorganize and reactivate the party in Sindh, Pir Saheb Pagaro should be requested to nominate the provincial president and secretary-general of the party and added that Sardar Ali Mohammad Mahar or Pir Sadaruddin Rashdi were the best choices to be nominated as the provincial president of the party.
