LAHORE, March 1: Mian Muhammad Azhar, former PML-Q president, on Monday advised political parties and leaders of all shades of opinion to sink their differences and sit together to work out a course of action to face internal and external challenges.

In a press statement, he said the rulers had failed to safeguard the national interests. Mian Azhar said in case the national parties failed to respond to the call of the hour, the writing on the wall was very clear.

He urged parliamentarians to pressure the rulers to change their policies. Solution to the Kashmir dispute and defence of the nuclear programme would not be possible without national unity, he said.
