QUETTA: Two injured in explosion

QUETTA, March 1: Two people were injured in an explosion in scrap in Chaman on Monday, police said. The explosion occurred on the Boghara Road in scrap brought from Afghanistan, when it was loaded on a donkey-cart for being taken to the scrap market.

Two people passing through the Boghara bazaar were injured, Chaman Tehsildar Nazar Hussain Buzdar said. They were taken to the Chaman civil hospital and later brought here for treatment with multiple wounds.

One of the injured was identified as Abdul Raziq. Three donkeys were also injured in the blast. Sources said the law-enforcement agencies seized a live rocket from the scrap.

labourers killed: Two labourers were buried alive in a landslide that occurred in the Qila Saifullah area of the Loralai district on Monday. The deceased were identified as Haji Mohammad and Khan Mohammad. The incident occurred when a portion of clay, which they were digging fell on them. Later, their bodies were recovered by local residents.
