ISLAMABAD, Feb 29: The Election Commission extended on Sunday the last date for filing of nomination papers for by-election to the vacant seats of union Nazims and Naib Nazims in Punjab, Sindh, NWFP and Balochistan.

Chief Election Commissioner Justice Irshad Hasan Khan (retired) said in an announcement that the Election Commission had partially revised the schedule for by-elections to vacant seats of members, Nazims and Naib Nazims in union councils in Punjab, Sindh, NWFP and Balochistan.

Those who intended to contest these election can file their nomination papers with returning officers from March 3 to 5.
