NEW DELHI, Feb 28: Indian Deputy Premier L.K. Advani wooed Muslims on Saturday to vote for his ruling Hindu nationalist BJP by highlighting his government's peace moves with Pakistan.

Advani said a BJP-led India would always strive for peace with Pakistan.

"We want both the countries to live in peace and harmony and even people in Pakistan are in favour of that," said Advani. "Things are moving along well only after a BJP-led government came to power."

"We should look to Europe - all countries are sovereign but part of a union. We also believe in peaceful co-existence with our neighbour," he added.-AFP
