Educators leave for US

By A Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Feb 26: A selected group of district school administrators, educators and representatives of non-governmental organizations left for the US on Thursday to attend a two-month training programme funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

A briefing on need, purpose and utility of the upcoming training was organized here earlier. A preliminary orientation session for the participants was also organised by the Education Sector Reform Assistance (ESRA) which included training-specific information, basic computer training and a briefing about flight arrangements, accommodation, climate, and American culture.

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Eastern Washington University and University of Northern Colorado will run a two- month training programme for the participants.
