LAHORE, Feb 25: Yasir Arafat claimed three of the lastfive Lahore wickets to give Rawalpindi a slender 34-run lead in the first innings on the penultimate dayof theirQuaid-i-Azam Trophy match at the LCCA Ground on Wednesday.

Yasir, in fact, struck thrice in one over as Rawalpindi bowled out Lahore for 460 in response to 494 scored by the visitors. Lahore, who resumed at 226 for three, at one stage looked on course to overhaul Rawalpindi's total but lost their last wickets for 63 runs.

Adil Nisar was left stranded on 62, which included 10 fours. Earlier, Salman Butt struck 137 off 193 balls with the help of 22 fours. When play ended for the day, Rawalpindi extended their overalllead to 172 by collecting 138 for two in the second innings.
