Apnec election

ISLAMABAD, Feb 23: All Pakistan Newspaper Employees Confederation (Apnec) elected on Saturday office-bearers for the 2004-06 term. Pervez Shaukat has been elected chairman and Nasir Chishti general secretary.
The other office-bearers are: Vice-chairman Mohammad Sharif; Imran Farooq Butt, Najmus Saqib and Ikram Bukhari, assistant secretaries-general; and Khalid Mehboob, treasurer.
The following were elected to the executive council: Maqbool Ahmed, Mehmood Jan Babar, Bakhtgir Chaudhry, Israrul Haq, Saeed Sarbazi, Nazar Baloch, Nadeem Iqbal, Raja Hasan Jaleel, Tasawar Raza, Mohammad Munir Khokar and Sajjad Tareen.
