Shabbir leaves for Perth today

LAHORE, Feb 20: Pakistan pacer Shabbir Ahmed leaves for Perth, Australia on Saturday to have his bowling action rectified by Australian bowling coach Daryl Foster.

Shabbir will return on Feb 29 to join national training camp on March 1. The camp will start on Feb 24 at Gaddafi Stadium for the home series against India.

Shabbir was reported for suspect action during the fifth One-day International in New Zealand last month. He is not under suspension and remains available for selection for the home series against India, a PCB official said.
