Mengal meets Bugti

QUETTA, Feb 18: President of the Balochistan National Party Sardar Akhtar Mengal held a meeting with chief of the Jamhoori Watan Party Nawab Mohammad Akbar Khan Bugti in Dera Bugti on Tuesday.

They discussed the country's overall political situation with special reference to Balochistan. It was learnt that Sardar Mengal had invited Nawab Bugti to attend Pakistan Oppressed Nations Movement's convention.

Later, Mr Bugti confirmed that he was given an invitation to join PONM, saying that before taking any decision he would discuss the matter with the party's central committee. Akhtar Mengal, while talking with journalists, said that the people of Balochistan were being deprived of their own resources.
