KARACHI, Feb 17: Indian Foreign Secretary Mr Shashank transited through here on Tuesday en route to Islamabad where he will hold talks with his Pakistani counterpart Mr Riaz Khokhar on Wednesday.

The Indian foreign secretary arrived here by PK-273 at 1.34pm from New Delhi and took the connecting flight to Islamabad.

It was reported earlier that Mr Shashank would probably visit the Indian mission's premises here, with a view to looking at the facilities for starting a visa camp office, and making the Deputy High Commission fully operational. But Mr Shashank did not come out of the airport building and proceeded to Islamabad. He was accompanied by the Indian High Commissioner.
