Cyclists for Sri Lanka

LAHORE, Feb 17: A six-member Pakistan cycling team will leave on Wednesday for Sri Lanka to take part in the Tour-de-Sri Lanka race to be held there from Feb 22-29.

The team comprises, Dilsher Ali, Muhammad Zahid, Malik Muhammad Bashir, Sakhawat Ali, Asmat Ali and Murad Ali, said Idris Haider Khawaja, secretary, Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) on Tuesday.

He said two officials Syed Azhar Ali (manager) and Syed Nazakat Hussain (coach) will accompany the team. "We hope that the team will be able to get productive results in the race which is a tough event," said the PCF official. -APP
