Govt policies criticized

By Our Correspondent

LARKANA, Feb 16: Hundreds of activists of the People's Party Parliamentarians observed a hunger strike near the Jinnahbagh here on Monday. Agha Siraj Durrani, PPP divisional president, led the protest, launched on the call of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy, on the fourth day.

Pakistan Muslim League-N leaders and activists also participated in the protest. Speaking on the occasion, PPP and PML-N leaders criticized the government for its policies and poor law and order situation.

They said the government should allow PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto to return to the country and release Asif Ali Zardari.
