Razzaq named blind team captain

LAHORE, Feb 15: Abdul Razzaq will lead the 14-member Pakistan blind cricket team against India in the five One-day match home series to be held from Feb 20 to 29. Indian team is scheduled to arrive in Lahore on Wednesday.

The team includes five players each in the totally blind and partially sighted categories. Four players, including skipper Razzaq, is in the partially blind category.

Amir Ishfaq has been named vice-captain of the team. Pakistan Blind Cricket Council also announced three reserve players in each category.

Team: B1(totally blind): Muhammad Waqas, Muhammad Shahbaz, Salman Elahi, Syed Sultan Shah, Muhammad Nawaz. Rizwan Ahmed (reserve).

B2 (partially blind): Abdul Razzaq (captain), Amir Ishfaq (vice-captain), Zeeshan Abbasi, Muzaffar Ali. Zafar Aalam (reserve).

B3(partially sighted); Tariq Samuel, Muhammad Fayyaz, Ashraf Bhatti, Shariq Yaseen, Masood Jaan. M Shehzad Javed (reserve).
