KHAIRPUR: Two boys run over by train

KHAIRPUR, Feb 12: Two boys, Zahid, 13, and Asif Shaikh, 12, were killed when a Kotri-bound train hit them on Thursday. The boys were playing on the railway tracks near Garhi Pul area.

KILLED: A man, Akbar Rind, was killed and three others injured when a car overturned on the National Highway near Kot Diji on Wednesday. The injured - Gulsher Bhangwar, Inayat Ali Bhangwar and Mushtaq Chang - were admitted to the civil hospital Khairpur. The Kot Diji police sent the body to Athihat Mori Nawabshah district.

ACCIDENTS: Nine people were injured when a pickup overturned on the Padidan link road on Wednesday.

INJURED: Murtaza Talpur, 20, was injured when he fell from a tractor trolley carrying sugarcane on the Kumb-Kot Lalo link road.
