DCA Hyderabad criticizes PCB

By Our Correspondent

HYDERABAD, Feb 9: The District Cricket Association (DCA) of Hyderabad on Monday lashed out at some officials and selectors of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for ignoring DCA Hyderabad and preferring those people who were connected personally with these officials.

The meeting of DCA Hyderabad was held under the chairmanship of its president Mir Rafique Talpur, secretary Faheem Baig Mughal, Mubarak Ali Meo, Riaz Khan Baluch, Siddiqui Bashani, Ibrahim Bhatti and others attended the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, secretary DCA Hyderabad Faheem Baig backed Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) which alleged that some officials affiliated with PCB were bent upon harming the board.

Mughal pointed out that these officials of the board were ignoring cricket associations constantly and were trying to run the cricket affairs through their paid employees.

He contended that any cricket association, affiliated with PCB, is supposed to be responsible for any cricket activity in its area because it was the only genuine representative body of PCB.
