Younis named Peshawar skipper

PESHAWAR, Feb 6: Younis Khan will lead Peshawar Region as the selection committee constituted by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member squad on Friday for the forthcoming Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Grade-I tournament starting from Feb 8 at various venues in the country.

The selection committee headed by Maazullah Khan with its members Javed Akhtar, Farrukh Zaman, Anwar Zaib Jan and Ishtiaq Ahmed witnessed the trials.

Younis Khan (captain), Wajahat Ullah Wasti (vice-captain), Yasir Hameed, Rifatullah, Akhtar Sarfaraz, Taimur Khan, Jan Nisar, Hidayatullah, Noorul Amin, Fazle Akbar, Umar Gul, Kabir Khan, Sajjad Shah, Ahmed Said, M. Siddique. -APP
