PAF crowned champions

ISLAMABAD, Jan 28: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) won the 12th National ski championship which concluded in Malam Jabba, Swat on Wednesday, says a press release.
Army took second place in the championship with Adventure Foundation of Pakistan (AFP) taking third spot. Pakistan will participate in the 14th Asian Junior ski championship in Iran this March. About 100 skiers drawn from all over the country took part in the championship.
Results:
Overall: PAF, Army, AFPGiant slalom for Shah Khan Cup: Tariq Khan (CAA), Dost (Islamabad), Adnan Shah (Northern Areas).
Shah Khan Cup Slalom: Yousaf (Islamabad), Ejaz (Northern Areas), Zafar (PTDC).
Men's slalom: Muhammad Abbas (PAF), Sher Afzal (PAF), Iqbal (Army)
Ladies slalom: Flt. Lt. Nadia (PAF), Ms Wali (Army), Flt. Lt. Adeeba (PAF).
Children's competition: Javed (PAF), Shamail (Northern Areas), Asad (NWFP), Umair (Balochistan).
