KARACHI, Jan 25: Sindh Minister for Information Technology Syed Mustafa Kamal has assured the residents of Gulbahar for the solution of civic problems especially sanitation and sewerage facing them for decades.

Addressing an open kutchery in the area, he said that the government believed in maintaining direct contact with the people and solve their problems at their door step.

Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Syed Shoaib Bokhari, MNA Israrul Ibad, MPA Moeen Khan and senior officials of concerned departments were also present on the occasion.

Mr Kamal told the gathering that concerned officials had been invited at the kutchery to ensure on-the-spot solution of problems. Area residents narrated the problems relating to sanitation, sewerage lines, street lights, telephones and absence of health care facilities and government dispensaries. The ministers received a number of complaints and applications from the residents and assured them of prompt solution to these problems.-APP
