Technical education being introduced


ISLAMABAD, Jan 24: Education Minister Zubaida Jalal has said technical education has been introduced in all schools enabling the students to get prepared themselves for better employment.

She stated this while talking to newsmen during her visit to FG girls secondary school F-6/1 here on Saturday.

The government has initiated education sector reforms programme and technical education is part of it, she said adding that the students who could not acquire higher education after school education, may get job opportunities owing to technical education.

Micro Credit Bank and Khushhali Bank will cooperate in this project, she added.

Zubaida said if the students of technical education wanted to get more education then they may opt for Engineering and other technical areas of education.

The students dropped out from schools may also earn livelihood after getting technical education, she said.

Zubaida said all those schools of Federal Directorate imparting technical education would also provide education to the children of community people in the evening shifts.-APP
