WANA (South Waziristan), Jan 24: The Ahmadzai Wazir sub-tribe on Friday handed over three more tribesmen to the political administration, and the latter issued a fresh list of 66 wanted men to be handed over for sheltering Al Qaeda and Taliban suspects in the agency.

So far, 26 accused have been handed over to the administration for their involvement in providing shelter to Al Qaeda and Taliban suspects since the operation was launched on Jan 11. They were named in the first list of 57 accused wanted to the administration. The remaining 31 are still at large.

The three accused, Noor Karim Shodyakai Wazir, Mohammad Rasul Shodyakai Wazir and Khanai Sperkai Wazir, were handed over to Wana Assistant Political Agent Rehmatullah Khan Wazir. They were sent to the lock-up for interrogation.

The APA also issued a fresh list of 66 wanted tribesmen and handed it over to the tribal elders with the directives that these men should also be surrendered for interrogation.
