India test-fires Prithvi missile
NEW DELHI, Jan 23: India on Friday successfully test-fired its nuclear-capable Prithvi missile, as part of a regular series of trials of domestically designed and produced weapons.
The Prithvi, capable of carrying a one-ton warhead, was fired at India's missile testing ground on Orissa's coast.
It was the 23rd test of the Prithvi missile. -Reuters
