PSF to host 9 international tournaments in 2004

ISLAMABAD, Jan 23: The Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) will organise as many as nine international tournaments this year including the World Junior Championship in August.
Their calendar of activity released on Friday, shows that the first tournament at home will be the $25,000 COAS Championship which takes place in Islamabad next month.
The SAF Games will follow in March with a $12,000 Pakistan International Circuit scheduled for April in Lahore. August will see the 13th World Junior Championship which is to be staged in Islamabad with Karachi holding the $25,000 CNS International the following month.
The month of October will feature the $25,000 CAS Championship in Peshawar and the $12,000 Pakistan International Circuit in Karachi. The venue for November's Pakistan Open is yet to be confirmed while Peshawar host the $12,000 Pakistan International Circuit in December.
Events to be held abroad include the $30,000 Windy City Open in the United States, the $11,250 Charters Open (France), Malaysian Junior Championship, Asian Seniors (Hong Kong) and the World Open, the venue for which is yet to be decided. The British Junior Championship is already over, having taken place this month while the $65,000 Kuwait Open was to kickoff on Friday.

Apr 15-20 Rs 300,000 National Junior (boys and girls, Lahore), 24-29 $12,000 Pakistan International Circuit (Lahore)
May 10-15 Rs 300,000 NWFP Governor Cup (Peshawar), 21-25 Rs 300,000 Balochistan Juniors (boys and girls, Quetta), 24-29 $11,250 Charters Open (France)
June 1-6 Malaysian Junior Championship (Malaysia), 11-15 Rs 500,000 President PSF Cup (Abbottabad), 22-25 Rs 100,000 National Women's Championship (Bhurban)
July 1-6 $12,000 Pakistan International Circuit (Lahore), 11- 16 Rs 300,000 National Juniors (boys and girls, Peshawar), 20-24 Rs 100,000 National Squash League (Islamabad), Asian Senior Championship (dates not decided, Hong Kong), 26-31 Rs 300,000 Hashim Khan Junior Championship (Islamabad).
