KARACHI: Schedule of HSC exam forms, fees announced

KARACHI, Jan 22: The Board of Intermediate Education on Thursday announced schedule of submission of forms and fees pertaining to HSC (Part-I) annual examinations-2004 for regular and private candidates.
According to a BIE notification, examination forms will be available at colleges concerned from Jan 26, while candidates have been asked to deposit the fee and filled-in forms duly attested by the college principals as per schedule.
Forms would be received without late fee from Jan 26 to Feb 11, while with a late fee of Rs100, Rs300 and Rs1,000 forms would be accepted till Feb 23, March 10 and March 20, respectively, it said.
The BIE also advised the principals to forward forms only of those candidates who had 75 per cent attendance during the academic session at the colleges. No examination form would be accepted without photocopies of enrolment card and mark sheets of the last examination taken by the candidates, the notification added.
In the case of private candidates, examination forms would be available at sales counters in Habib Bank, D' Silva Town Branch, in the board office from Jan 26 on payment of Rs20 per form.
Private candidates can also purchase the forms from 30 other designated branches of HBL in the city, but they are required to submit those after meeting all formalities only at the HBL counter at BIE premises. Forms without late fees would be accepted from Jan 26 to Feb 16, while with a late fee of Rs100, Rs300 and Rs1,000, forms could be submitted by Feb 26, March 15 and March 29, respectively.
The HBL branches involved in the process are as follows: New Karachi, Muslim Town, Barkat-e-Hyderi, Taimuria Market, Nazimabad Chowrangi, Dastagir Colony, Karimabad, Shahrah-e-Pakistan, Liaquatabad, Orangi Town, She Shah, PIB Colony, Jamshed Road, Sir Syed Road, Mehmoodabad, Jacob Lines, Defence Housing Society, Delhi Colony, Preedy Street, Dow Medical College, Ranchore Line, University Road, ABul Hasan Isphani Road, Hasan Square, Mehran (Malir Halt), Malir City, Drigh Colony No 1, Korangi No 2, Landhi No 5 and Landhi No 6 branches.
