FAISALABAD, Jan 14: A man and his sister were axed to death while his other sister injured allegedly by their cousins over a property dispute in Chak 604-GB in Tandlianwala tehsil on Tuesday night.

Noor Samad and Sakhawat had occupied a piece of land owned by their cousin Haleema. They had been involved in litigation and the accused were using delaying tactics.

They were rushed to a hospital where Anwar died soon after arrival. Haleema was stated to be out of danger. Bahlak police have registered a case on the complaint of Haleema. No arrest has so far been made.
