Fernandes injured in accident
PATNA, Jan 14: Indian Defence Minister George Fernandes was injured on Wednesday when his car and a truck collided in thick fog in Bihar, a party leader said.
Mr Fernandes, headed for his parliamentary constituency of Nalanda, suffered injuries to his head and feet. "Nothing serious about it," Upendra Khushwaha, state leader of Fernandes' Janata Dal said. He said Mr Fernandes had been brought to Patna and would fly to Delhi later.-Reuters
