Kasuri sees next six months vital for peace
By Our Correspondent
KASUR, Jan 11: The next six months are very important for durable peace in the region in view of the resumption of talks between India and Pakistan.
This was stated by Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri while talking to newsmen at Bhagiana Kalan village, some 28kms from here on Sunday.
He said the opposition should appreciate the foreign policy of the government as the composite dialogues with India had been started for the larger public interest.
The dialogues would be held on equal footings and without any external pressure, he said. Pakistan was an independent state and the process of talks had been started in accordance with the wishes of the people of both the countries to bring peace in the region, he added.
