US trade team due on 19th

LAHORE, Jan 10: A high-level joint delegation of the US Chamber of Commerce and the US-Pakistan Business Council will visit provincial metropolis on January 19 to explore the investment avenues in different sectors for strengthening economic cooperation between two countries.

Chairman and founder, US-Pakistan Business Council, Iftikhar Ali Malik, told APP here on Saturday that Dr Herbert Davis, managing director, South Asia Affairs, US Chamber of Commerce, and Ms Esperanza Gomez, newly-appointed executive director, US-Pakistan Business Council, will represent their institutions during their visit to Pakistan.

The delegation will meet the President and executive committee members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and highlight in detail the economic policies of the US private sector towards their Pakistani counterparts.

He said LCCI chief Mian Anjam Nisar would explain to the members about the distinctive features of the excellent package of incentives offered to attract foreign investment in Pakistan.-APP
