Afghanistan hockey team due on 12th

PESHAWAR, Jan 9: A 21-member Afghanistan national hockey team is arriving on Jan 12, to play six matches against district XI teams, chairman Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) competition committee, Syed Zahir Shah said on Friday.

He said, the Afghanistan team is coming on a 10-day tour in which they will play two matches each against Peshawar District XI at Peshawar, Abbottabad District XI at Abbottabad and Bannu District XI at Bannu under the aegis of NWFP Hockey Association.-APP
