Army snatch first shooting gold
KARACHI, Jan 4: Army snatched the first gold to end Navy's monopoly on the second day of 10th National Shooting Championship at the Naval Range on Sunday.
Army's trio of Mustaqeem Shah, Afsar Khan and Maj. M.U. Hasan mustered 1693/1800 to capture the Rapid-fire team gold. S.A.Noor came from behind to grab the gold in Olympic Trap with 129/150.
Nazish Khan of Navy set a new mark in winning the gold medal in Air Rifle 493.2/509 beating the previous record by point one margin. Air Pistol and Rifle prone will be held on Monday.
