Croft calls it a day
LONDON, Jan 2: England off spinner Robert Croft has announced his retirement from international cricket, according to his county side Glamorgan on Friday. The 33-year-old played 21 tests and 55 one-day internationals.
Hardly a big spinner of the ball, he enjoyed his best moments abroad, taking 35 wickets at 24.65 apiece away from England, compared to his overall career figures of 49 wickets at 37.24. -Reuters
