KARACHI, Jan 2: A young man committed suicide in Orangi Town on Friday.Police said that Nadeem, 22, was found hanging in his house on Friday morning.
Nadeem, who was facing joblessness, was scolded by his father earlier on Thursday night. In a fit of depression, the young man ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling fan. His body was shifted to the Abbasi Hospital.
ACCIDENT: A young boy died in a road accident in Saeedabad on Thursday. Police said that Sarfraz, 9, who was returning home after attending the school, was knocked down by a speeding minibus (JA-1904) in Ittehad town. The injured boy died in his way to hospital. Following the accident, the errant driver escaped from the spot, police added.
BURNS: A young woman died of burns at the Civil Hospital. Police said that Fareeda, 20, had suffered burns in her house in Malir on Dec 14. She was shifted to the burns ward of the CHK where she died during treatment on Jan 2.
