KARACHI, Dec 31: Pakistan Customs skipper Aamir Bashir scored his second century of the match before setting DHA a formidable target of 422 on the third day of the Patron's Trophy Pool 'A' tie at Quaid-i-Azam Cricket Park on Wednesday.
Aamir slammed an unbeaten 100 with 16 boundaries to follow his 108 in the first knock on Monday. Customs might rue their decision to declare their second innings at 263 for eight a few overs too late as DHA survived the remaining 18 overs without much alarm.
On the final day, DHA still require 381 after reaching 41 for no loss at stumps. For DHA, left-arm paceman Nasir Khan picked up six for 93 in Customs' second innings to complete an excellent match with figures of 12 for 192.
Earlier, Mohtashim Rasheed captured the last DHA wicket to fall when he had Nasir Khan caught by Fahad Iqbal for five. The veteran slow left-armer finished with five for 38 in 24 overs.
