RAWALPINDI, Dec 31: Sui Gas tightened the noose around ZTBL on Wednesday to reduce them to 169 for eight in their second innings in the Patron's Trophy Pool 'B' match at Rawalpindi Stadium.

After gaining a 127-run first innings lead, thanks to Misbah-ul-Haq's 168 that saw Sui Gas score 372, ZTBL could not stand up to the pace of Sajid Ali and Wasim Khan. Except for Faisal Naveed who scored 46 not out, others around him had no answer to Sajid's bowling who took four for 31 while Wasim took three for 56.

Earlier, when Sui Gas resumed at the overnight score of 267 for six, Misbah continued to bat with confidence taking his score from 103 to finish with 168.
