Unity urged

MINGORA, Dec 29: Pukhtunkhwa Qaumi Party (PQP) president Mohammad Afzal Khan has urged the Pukhtuns to get united for their rights.

Speaking at a public meeting here on Sunday, he said that 80 per cent of the people in the country were facing serious economic problems, while only 10 per cent were enjoying the national wealth.

The PQP president also criticized the cowardly attacks on President Gen Pervez Musharraf.

NAPP central president Arbab Ayub Jan, former MNA Latif Afridi and NAPP (Sindh) president Nazir Magsi also spoke at the meeting.

The speakers said that the Pukhtuns always felt the need for a dedicated leadership, who could fight for the rights of the oppressed people.
