LAHORE, Dec 27: Punjab University vice-chancellor Arshad Mahmood on Saturday condemned assassination bid on President Gen Pervez Musharraf.
In a statement, Mr Mahmood said the PU teachers, students and employees had also condemned all such acts of terrorism.
He said the attack on Gen Musharraf’s life was a cowardly act by anti-state forces. The nation was behind the president in his fight against terrorism and extremism, he added.
The VC lauded the resolve of the president against terrorism and extremism and his untiring efforts for the country’s progress.— Staff Reporter
