KARACHI, Dec 24: The Dawn Group of Newspapers has organized “All about lifestyles”, its premiere branding exhibition, on the national stage, says a press release.

It adds that the three exciting weekends in December “All about lifestyles” exhibitions are setting the stage for consumer marketing in 2004. Already exhibitions have been successfully held in Islamabad and Lahore and over 320,000 people have visited the exhibition.

“On Dec 27 and 28, ‘All about lifestyles’ will remain open from 10am to 10pm at the Expo Centre in Karachi. The exhibition, featuring over 150 leading consumer brands and service providers, is expected to attract a large number of visitors of all ages, income and tastes in Karachi,” the press release says.

Being Karachi’s annual consumer event, ‘All about lifestyles’ is breaking new ground to add value for visitors. This year, apart from the exhibition, there are a host of activities planned to make ‘All about lifestyles’ a great family weekend outing. These include interactive pavilions focussing on art, books, home improvement and gardening. There is a special Young World pavilion for children’s activities and features exciting competitions and prizes. Also planned is Dawn’s annual ‘All breed championship dogshow’ as well as screening of the Pakistani cinema’s cult horror success Zinda Laash, it adds.

The press release states, “The exhibition titled, ‘Jewel in the crown: Karachi under the Raj (1843-1947)’, will feature portraits, photographs and exhibits highlighting Karachi’s development under the British Raj. The ‘All about lifestyles’ will be inaugurated by Federal Minister of Finance Shaukat Aziz. The exhibition has been put together by collecting never before seen exhibits from private collections, international sources, government warehouses and archives.”
