KARACHI, Dec 24: Four ships carrying soyabean meal, crude oil and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Kota Wangi, Sinar Bangka and APL Shanghai to unload and load containers, Yong Ann-4 and Wad Bannaqa were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed included Zues-1, Conti Asia, Karim-1, and Eagle Saggitta, while Anjum, Bangak Barta, Aurelia, Ocea Luna, APL Shanghai, Wad Bannaqa and Yong Ann-4 are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 65,451 tons comprising 15,970 tons of export cargo and 40,481 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Al-Manakh, with containers, Johar, with crude oil, Koriana, with high speed diesel, and Mercs Kirinda, with 2,100 tons of soyabean meal.

The following ships are due on Friday: Georges Nikolas, with high speed diesel, Bum Ju to load 16,000 tons of molasses, Norasia Noo, Beliz Urkme-2, Nord Beach, with containers, Steel Glory, with general cargo.
