LAHORE, Dec 22: The first flight of Indian Airlines will land at Lahore airport on Jan 2, 2004 after a two-year-long break.
Flights between the two countries were suspended on Dec 31, 2001.
A five-member Indian Airlines delegation, headed by general manager Vijay Kumar, arrived here on Monday by road.
Mr Kumar, while talking with this correspondent, said at the Wagah border post that the delegation will discuss relevant details in this regard with officials of the Civil Aviation Authority and other departments concerned, including PIA.
He said the airline was scheduled to operate two weekly flights — Mondays and Fridays — between New Delhi-Lahore route.
