Development package for Kasur soon

KASUR, Dec 21: A special development package for Kasur will be announced by Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi in a few days.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri while addressing a big public gathering arranged by the Anjuman-i-Kambohan at Kot Murad Khan.

The foreign minister also performed the ground-breaking ceremony of the road from Mandi Usmanwala to Kanganpur. Over 100 villages will benefit from this road after its completion.

Speaking on the occasion, District Nazim Rana Imtiaz Ahmad Khan said the Kasur district had received a sum of Rs150 million for the construction and renovation of educational institutions. He said that a new dialysis centre would also start functioning in few days.

Tehsil Nazim Malik Rashid Ahmad Khan, chief minister’s advisor Chaudhry Akhtar Rasool, MPA Malik Ahmad Saeed Khan, union council nazims and councillors were also present on the occasion.
