CHAGHAI, Dec 19: Iranian border authorities handed over 110 Pakistanis to Levies’ officials at Taftan on Friday.

They were detained for having illegally crossing the border into Iran, officials said.

They said 66 of the people handed over by Iranian authorities were handed over to officials of the Federal Investigation Agency while the remaining 44 persons were still in the custody of Levies. They would later be handed over to FIA officials.

Authorities pushed five Bangladeshi nationals into Iran, foiling their bid to enter Pakistan without any travelling documents.—APP
