RAWALPINDI, Dec 17: Habib Bank made a patient start to their first innings after dismissing Allied Bank for 297 on day three of their Patron’s Trophy Pool ‘B’ match at the KRL Stadium on Wednesday.

At the close of play on the penultimate day, Habib Bank were 117 for two off 48 overs with Aftab Khan unbeaten on 40 and Hasan Raza not out 44. Tahir Mughal took both the wickets for which he conceded 45 runs.

Earlier, Allied Bank who resumed their innings at the score of 216 for eight, added 81 more runs. Ijaz Ahmed Jr, 106 not out overnight, went on to score 139 before falling to Akram Raza.
