HYDERABAD, Dec 14: Pakistan Customs defeated last season’s runners-up Wapda by 30 runs in the Patron’s Cup Pool ‘A’ fixture at Niaz Stadium on Sunday.
Wapda, chasing a modest 199 in 50 overs, were bowled out for 168 in the 42nd over. Speedsters Imran Ali and Stephen John were the major wicket-takers, claiming four for 59 and three for 27, respectively.
Left-hander Naseem Khan top-scored for Customs with a quick 65 off 64 balls, hitting six boundaries.
