AUQAF CHIEF: Sindh Auqaf chief administrator Khawar Noor has said the government is setting up a research and publication cell to spread the message of saints of Sindh.

Talking to newsmen at the shrine of Shah Abdul Karim of Bulri, the other day he said the department had initiated a project costing Rs550 million on a land adjacent to the mausoleum of Abdullah Shah Ghazi in Karachi.

He said project included a mosque, research and publication cell, an auditorium, Musafirkhana and book stall.

Mr Noor said non-controversial religious scholars would be invited by the government to compile history of spiritual leaders of Sindh and a website be maintained about the works of the cell.

He said the Auqaf department had prepared a feasibility to maintain 280 shrines and mosques through out the province.
