KARACHI, Dec 14: The Karachi University on Monday announced examination schedule for candidates registered for BSc part-I and II, besides those appearing for improvement of division.

As per schedule, the examination will be held from Dec 20 to Jan 6, 2004.

Physics-I and Microbiology-I papers for BSc part-I, will be held on Dec 20, to be followed by part-II papers of Physics-III and Zoology-III, on Dec 22, while Islamic Studies (compulsory) and Moral Philosophy for Non-Muslims (part-I) will take place on Dec 26 and Pakistan Studies (compulsory) part-II on Dec 27.

English (compulsory) for First Year BSc, on Dec 29 and Humanities, Sindhi or Urdu (compulsory) for second year students on Dec 30. Chemistry-I and Economics-I for BSc (part-I) on Dec 31, Chemistry-III for BSc (part-II) on Jan 1.

BSc first year papers in Geology-I, Microbiology-II and Computer Sciences-I (Common with BA) will be conducted on Jan 2. Geology-III, Bio-Chemistry-III, Computer Science-III and Bio-Statistics-IV papers will be held on Jan 3.

Botany-I, Geography-II and Computer Science-II for BSc part-I have been scheduled for Jan 5 and Geography-IV, Microbiology-III, Computer Science-IV on Jan 6.

Details regarding examination centres and seating arrangements for both male and female candidates has also been finalised by the university.
