ATC acquits five of murder
PESHAWAR, Dec 11: An anti-terrorism court here on Thursday acquitted five accused including a woman in a murder and car stealing case.
The court presided over by Akhter Zareef Khan observed that the prosecution could not prove its case against Ayaz, Rustam, Meranullah, Shareefullah and Ms Bukhtawar Jana.
The accused were charged with killing a taxi driver, Safeerullah, and taking away his cab in Karak on July 27, 1997.
The prosecution claimed that they had killed a taxi driver.—Bureau Report
